Caricature is a research project exploring how movement can illuminate particular elements of a character.

 

Bringing Azzie's original background in drama into the last decade working in dance Caricature explores the development of movement practices in illuminating human intricacies. Working with particular movement practices she explores juxtapositions of interior and exterior landscapes and the way movement is  recognised or 'read'. This is used to investigate how movement can be used to pertain to specific archetypes we find in todays society and subverted in the creation of specific narrative structures.
